Important Update Regarding Our Branches - March 18, 2020

March 18, 2020 - School Systems Federal Credit Union is continuing to monitor the current situation regarding COVID-19, the novel coronavirus. We hope all our members, staff and families are weathering this storm and continue to stay safe and healthy.

As we continue to navigate this unprecedented time, please know that we will continue to be here to serve you to the best of our ability. At this time, our branches remain open for business, but as a preventive measure, adjustments are being made to our branch operations to help protect our communities from continued spread of the virus and to help flatten the curve of infection.

Beginning tomorrow, March 19, 2020, we will be operating only our drive-up teller windows at our two branch locations, but we are committed to providing nearly all services you would normally request in our lobby. Access to our lobby areas will be restricted to appointment only, and for when specific needs cannot be handled either by drive-thru, telephone or digital means. A reduction in branch staff will also likely occur and those employees able to work from home will begin doing so.

We continue to encourage members to heed the warnings to stay home and to utilize our digital or telephone methods for their banking needs whenever possible. This includes Virtual Branch Online Banking, Bill Pay services, our mobile banking app, PAT (your personal automated teller), as well as our online loan application that are all available for your use. We are also encouraging members to call us by phone and utilize our night-drop boxes at each location.

With many area business closures and workforce reductions, should you find yourself in need of financial assistance during this time, we encourage you to reach out to us. We are here for you and can discuss options that may be available to help you get through your current situation.

As an important piece of your daily lives providing financial services, we know these circumstances are difficult to maneuver and may cause additional wait times, but please know we are continuing our commitment to serve you at this time of great need. We are working together with you, our staff and our communities to keep everyone safe. Thank you for your understanding and most importantly, thank you for your continued membership with School Systems FCU.
